A similar thing happend to me when my fiancé purposed a few months a ago. I liked the ring he got me but I didn’t feel like it was the ring of my dreams. So after a lot of research I found a ring I really loved and last week he got it for me. I wear the one he got me first on my right hand and my new engagement ring on my left.When he gave it to me since my daughter was present I pretended to love it and even got teary eyed. Little did he know it was because I did not like it at all. Fast forward a few weeks later we get into an argument and I let him know how much I hate the ring. Halo engagement rings trended heavily for quite a large chunk of the last 20 years, now they are not so trendy.
