The firmware version will be displayed: Example: firmware-version: 6.80 0x80003cfb 1.2007.0. First field is the firmware or NVM version (6.80). Just trying to understand if there is some hidden constraint on the x710 compared to the x520 (beyond FCoE) as usually old tech is cheaper then new tech. The 710 is a pain with ESXi. There are unfixed issues that you have to install new drivers for in 6.5.
